AS/SA preserved on "LOCKSS" at Harvard

The fine folks at Harvard and Stanford have invited us to take part in a new initiative designed to preserve more permanently a selection of the Internet's academic pubishing: the "LOCKSS" project. The name is an acronym for "Lots of copies keep stuff safe," and involves an extensive network of servers, mirrors and backups all organized by the illustrious American Ivory Tower college. Naturally, we were flattered and pleased to accept.

For more information on what LOCKSS is, please visit Stanford's explanation of its origins at this site hosted by the American Digital Library Federation.
